Jordyn Elhart

Occupational Therapist

Jordyn Elhart is an occupational therapist who received her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Milligan College in 2018. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science, with a minor in Psychology from Hope College in 2015. She has specialized training in executive functioning skills, LSVT BIG, and both nonviolent crisis intervention and verbal de-escalation. She has been a certified Crisis Prevention (CPI) Instructor since 2020. Additionally, Jordyn has received training in sensory integration and sensory processing disorders, both acquired and traumatic brain injuries, anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, and ADHD. Jordyn has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including experience in outpatient pediatrics as well as adult home health and adult outpatient services. Her work with adults has primarily been focused on neurological conditions, with an emphasis on traumatic brain injury and Parkinson’s Disease, and she currently serves as the vice president of the Brain Injury Network of Northern Michigan. She is registered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy and is licensed by the State of Michigan. Jordyn enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and spending time on Lake Michigan with her husband and their dog, Fuzzy, in her free time.
